Influenced by European Style Café’s, Clouds offers an experience that is unlike any other in Ames, Iowa. Our atmosphere embraces lounging and coziness to make any visitor feel right at home. Our mission is to provide an environment as an island away from the stress of life for you to relax and enjoy the present moment. Here at Clouds, we believe in specialty coffee that supports a local non-profit, Café El Zapote, and fresh and casual European style dishes and desserts and unique events.

Since our beginning in the Fall of 2019, Clouds has taken a huge step to provide visitors more of the Clouds experience.

 

Clouds is a coffee shop with themed events rather than a traditional restaurant. We offer a casual, all-day menu from 10 AM to 6 PM, where guests can order at the counter—no reservations needed. Our "all-day menu" is available online. On weekdays, we also serve a rotating lunch special, featuring a fresh selection of dishes, which you can check under "lunch special" on our website.

For a restaurant-style experience, we recommend attending one of our themed weekend events by reserving your spot (tickets available on our website).
