               Coronavirus Action Plan @Clouds

At Clouds, we have made it our first priority to follow the State and Nationals guidelines for every restaurant.

 

Here are the mandatory guidelines, Clouds is following, issued by the Iowa Department of Inspection and Appeals:

 

• Implement reasonable measures to ensure the social distancing of employees and customers, increased hygiene practices, and other public health measures to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19

 

Clouds will also be implementing the following guidelines to further prevent the spread of COVID-19:

 

• Clouds will be using the technology of UV-C light to sanitize some surfaces. 

  • UV sanitization has been helping defeat bacteria and viruses (even other variations of other coronaviruses) for the past 40 years. 

• Clouds will be sanitizing each space used after each customer

• Clouds employees with be wearing effective see-through masks when interacting with customers and handling food

• Clouds will enhance cleaning schedules for all food contact surfaces and cleaning of non-food contact surfaces

• Clouds will assign an employee each shift to monitor social distancing, sanitation, and hygiene products

At Clouds, we will be using the UV sanitizing method to prevent the spread of coronavirus. According to the International Ultraviolent Association, UV sanitization has been helping defeat bacteria and viruses (even other variations of other coronaviruses) for the past 40 years. Using UV-C light, the beam is powerful enough to destroy genetic material whether DNA or RNA. We will only use this technology for surfaces that are harder to clean with liquids, for example, armchairs. We believe the UV sanitization will help provide a cleaner and safer environment here at Clouds. If you have any questions about the sanitized process, please see any of the workers.
